The Diversity Leadership Academy exists to equip leaders from various community sectors with the leadership skills and competencies to effectively manage diversity in their respective organizations and to contribute to more quality decisions about diversity in the communities in which they operate.

Objectives:
  • To provide a process for addressing the complex issues and tensions that result from various diversity mixtures -- the 'Strategic Diversity Management Process' (SDMP).
  • To foster understanding of the requirements for effective implementation of the SDMP.
  • To enable participants to take the initial steps toward acquiring diversity management skills and becoming diversity mature.
